"Life and Death" - Richmond's back 6 creed
« on: March 31, 2013, 12:58:04 PM »
The Sunday Footy Show showed a pic of Houli on Thursday night with tape around his wrist with the words "LIFE AND DEATH" written on it. They asked Griggy about it and he said our whole defensive group came up with that and are using it (as a creed) to say fight to stop opposition goals as if your life depended on it. To Grigg's knowledge only Houli had it written down.

Love it!

It's great to see elements of the club rid the stain of mediocrity from its culture and wipe it clean.

Breaking down those walls of poo that has plagued it for 30 years.
Creating a new culture and a win at all costs mentality. I've been banging on about it for years and finally the club is ridding itself from those virulent toxins that have plagued it for years.
It's a great step. Building a new breed of winners on a foundation of victory and success.
A new horizon and prosperous future.

......It's about time too.

wallet did many of this at his time at tigerland

anyway it didnt  really work in the last qtr

we still are hopeless at stopping a run on and momentum v the opposition

every team knows we are mentally weak and can give up quick goals too easy

we must change this to be a top team

Wallet just painted the walls, didnt even clean them first. The poo and stench of mediocrity was still there it was just covered up.

Interesting to see Houli have 'Life and Death' written on his hand but still be tentative about standing under the footy several times.

Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

But you see, it's not me, it's not my family.
In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

Clearly he was just reading the life part during those periods....
