Richmond are going to have to be a little cleaner with the ball. They have operated at a disposal efficiency of 43 per cent and a kicking efficiency of 14 per cent so far.

The ball has been in their forward half for 71 per cent of the first nine minutes of this match.

Cotch to Ellis but he wobbles the ball along the ground for a throw-in. Griffs collects the ball from the throw-in but his snap is through for a point.

Jack on the wing finds Gordon who chips to Griffs just outside 50. Long bomb misses.

Poor kick by Batch (think WC game all over again) turns it over and then Cotch gives away 50. Just dumb dumb dumb  :banghead.

Thankfully they miss.

Grigg to Titch through the centre to Dusty then back to Titch on the run but his shot misses.

Soft play by us leads to a GWS point.

Quick kick-in and Gordon on the wing goes to Lambert (free) who kicks long to Jack 35m out. Goal  :gotigers

Hip hip hooray. Quick direct footy in the wet and surprise surprise we get a goal.

Heath Shaw outmarked TV. That sums us up so far.

Three soft possessions in a row gives them a goal  :banghead.

Cotch out of the centre. Bad bounce suits us and Jack gives to Gordon but his misses  :scream. That should have been a goal  :banghead.

Tackles 16 - 28

13 Tigers without a tackle = too many passengers. Cotch and Dusty with 4 tackles, Grigg & Ellis 2, Rance, Newy, Miles & Ivan with 1. The rest zippo.

What do we do before a game to continually fail to turn up for first quarters?!  :banghead.
