not sure they have the talent mate either.

Rokcliff, Jack. The former has become such a crap footballer its incredible the transformation.
What did anyone expect from Watts or Motlop, the best downhill skiers the game has ever seen. How did anyone expect any more than they’ve always gave. Pretenders that will always be found out in finals footy.
Actually that’s something else Hinkley should resign immediately over, who in their right mind would actually recruit Watts

Didn't we, with Dimma in charge, make a play for Watts at one stage?

Rockliffs body is shot. There was one play early in the 4th when port were only a goal down where he was one on one near the square and all he needed to do was put body contact on the defender and he would have easily marked and goaled, but he avoided the contact and it was all lies from there.

Hinkley didn’t have Caracella so argument is moot.

Well time for the annual match up of the master coaches.

Should we have got Hinkley instead of Dimma?

All will be revealed Saturday.

Both are good coaches in my opinion. Both coaches also require a decent support network to achieve on field success. Hinkley benefited greatly from having Darren Burgess and they kinda jumped the competition with their elite running in 2014. He also had the cattle, Robbie gray was out of control and Chad Wingard was kicking a ridiculous number of goals.

Of course the wheels fell of the cart at Port and their run and gun style which relied on them being the fittest team in the comp got countered pretty quickly.

I do look at their coaches though and think who the **** are these people?

I don’t follow port enough to know what the players think of Hinkley but I think what’s very clear is that our current playing group and most importantly Martin cotch and our guns are 1000000% behind Hardwick

He won this round. He was definitely ready and made the team play the game needed to beat us even with us having so many youngsters in the team.

They put someone on Lambert and totally negated his influence.
They mauled Dusty and gave him no time or room at all.
They harassed and pressured better and longer than us.
They also had their talls take contested marks that we couldn’t buy.

Let’s see how they go in finals. I’d like us to have another opportunity when we are fitter and firing.
I think they’ll peak too early and stumble at some point.

I’d still take Hardwick because I don’t really like Hinkley n
The club that keeps giving.
