I expect him to flop and be delisted.

No mongrel and you can't train it into them!

Really needs to have improved his marking. He can leap higher than most and often gets his hands to the footy and then drops the ones he should be taking let alone the contested ones. Is quick and has a beautiful kick on him so if he can improve his marking he may have a future yet.

I tend to agree with Andyy.

You can’t teach footy instinct.

Also I find him a very lazy footballer and he loses his way in games as he can’t read the play.
He gives up too easily in contests.

He has so much upside but I can’t see him all of a sudden developing a footy brain like Reiwoldt.

Imagine if he did though.  :rollin

Yes footy brains too, good call.

But for me it's also the complete lack of nasty. With no footy brains and no nasty you are just left with athleticism and some learned ball skills.

Smells like Griffiths / Post / McBean / Elton etc.

People like us just wish we were that big so even if we couldn't play we could at least knock the stuffing out of someone like Dangertoss.

Not much.

If CCJ improves as expected, then he will get the games Chol was getting in 2020

I really had high hopes for him. But after the 2020 qualifying final and seeing how uncompetitive he was which meant they could double and triple team Jack, I think he’s basically done. He probably would have been delisted if Soldo didn’t get injured.

In my view has all the talent needed to be a star. However, unless he loses his lazy spectating moments where he goes missing and does not compete he will likely get delisted. Talent gets you to one level. Effort, hard work and Grit gets you to the next. Honestly it's up to him provided he remains injury free....

I think he lacks confidence, after the groping incident he was terrible, lost all confidence and seemed ashamed / embarrassed
I think he has ability but hasn’t established his best position yet, if he doesn’t have the desire to make it he be out next year as we have a lot of good picks in the draft

6  yrs on and we keep him. Hope this is not a return to the bad old days hanging onto blokes for inordinate amounts of time in hope they can turn things around.
Even with the Soldo injury i am  still scratching my head as to why we kept him. Its not as if Chol has the heart or aggression to play ruck in fact we have played him more as a tall fwd and that has not gone too well either.  CCJ and Samson Ryan would be better ruck options than Chol given what he has dished up to date.
