I reckon Thursty has been ok, but mark my words as the best judge of footy on this site, Rance has peaked.
Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

Gerks 27/6/11

But you see, it's not me, it's not my family.
In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

Which is why we should trade him. When limited players reach a peak then you should cash them in.

It's the list management version of supercoach trading.

Rance will stay. Also has the opportunity to improve further with better players around him in future. Also should be in the leadership group.

on what basis can you say rance has peaked?
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

lol

name your price big richo i'll bite. Going from where Rance is today and where he came from just last season as an almost deadset certainty to delist, I'd say he's nowhere near peaked.

Because he is an average player with limitations that is playing well based on attitude, commitment and courage.

History would show that is not sustainable.

this time last year i would have agreed 100% with you richo.

this year he has improved markedly in the field of decision making and disposal. I no longer have my heart in my mouth when he has the ball like i do with mcguane edwards and jackson

Got a few more strings to his bow. Good closing speed, is built like a big KPP should be, has improved his judgement of the ball in flight incredibly, has improved his body on body work incredibly (was always played as an attacking backman which with his limited skills was a recipe for disaster and his decision making has gone through the roof.
He was taught to play a new role late (thankyou dimma!) and has shown a very quick turnaround. Now he is clearly learning the finer points like when to go and when to stay, what side of the fwd to play on as play unfolds up the ground. Shown he is a quick learner, has no fear almost stupid courage and when you add what u said about commitment and attitude i thought thats about what you want from your KPD?  ???

Being 8 hours behind my great country I had a sleep in this morning and when I get up I go straight for the iPad to check the scores......why do I want to go back to bed... :lol
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

Sat right behind the bench today, they are more sooky and confused than angry and pi55ed.
Gotta get angry boys.
Wev'e lost it big time and need to just steady the ship which we did in the 2nd half.
Need to get a bit of anger back and mark our territory when we play the Swans in a few weeks, leave it all on the park that day, so to say!
Then coast to the finish line, just show something for one game! As a coach I would get them up as much as possible for that one 1/2 no doz before the game each.

and they're confused because they feel the coach's game plan is not working and cant understand why he wont change tactics.Tactics they know would be more effective
