His selections are pathetic. Naismith is not the future so why play him. Does Yze want him to leave a  lasting legacy too?

Short, Kmac , Pickett no Ryan Mcaulife is just crazy.
Spot on, and the other crazy thing is after every loss he keeps praising the leaders and experienced players . It's making me sick, they are the ones letting us down, it's the kids that need praise. The senior mob have all been poor except for Shai and Vlaustin. They're the only experienced players worthy of selection ATM

That's been happening last couple seasons kids take the rapt and get dropped because our senior players not performing.

Livingston calling the shots.... :shh

Ryan not playing is puzzling that's 4 games his been in the best and we go with a pure ruck as a forward. Coulthard should have replaced Campbell nothing wrong with rotation.

The certainties for Round 8 - Richmond versus Fremantle

Andrew Slevison
SEN
4 May 2024

D.Rioli to have 20+ disposals

Daniel Rioli has been one of Richmond’s most consistent performers in recent weeks.

He had 23 disposals in last week’s loss to Melbourne, making it the fourth time he has hit the 20-touch mark from seven matches in 2024.

His record against Fremantle over the years isn’t flash (averaging 15.8 disposals), but much of that time was spent as a small forward.

If the Tigers are a chance of winning, Rioli must provide plenty of run and carry so we’re with him to pick up at least 20 touches at the MCG.

Serong to have 25+ disposals, 5+ clearances

Caleb Serong is one of the most prolific midfielders in the AFL in 2024.

He averages over 32 disposals and more than eight clearances, and against the Dogs last weekend he filled up with 37 touches and a remarkable 17 clearances.

He has loved playing against Richmond over the course of his career, averaging 25 touches and over five clearances across four games.

Given the Tigers remain thin in the midfield, Serong could feast at the ‘G on Sunday and we’re with him to get a fair bit of the ball.

The 23-year-old should have at the very least 25 disposals and five clearances, and could quit easily tip over the 30-disposal mark.

Final Score

Richmond   2.3    5.8    8.12   13.15-93
Coburg       3.1    5.2     6.3     9.7-61

Goals: Koschitzke 2, Ryan 2, May 2, Olden 2, Coulthard, Cumberland, Garner, Wilson, Davidson.

Samson our best IMO followed by McAuliffe.
Coulthard was good through the middle quarters.
Smith solid again.
Cumberland's second half in general play was the best he's played this year by far. Pleasing to see an unselfish side a few times. Only spoiled by his goalkicking point-kicking.
Kosi prominent in the first quarter but less so after that.
Green was ok as was Trezise. Seems we were managing some players gametime.

Go to 4-1 and up to 4th on the VFL ladder for now.
