Have any of the reserved seats been sold to new members?

One of my uncle's was saying we have lost our seats.

I hope not. Have had that seat for about 18 years straight, through thick and thin, it's a good seat and everyone in the area has grown quite fond of hanging out together.

I was told a while back the Club wants members with reserved seats to be able to sit in their same seat each week/home game while GA members will be free to sit wherever they like within the GA allocated zones. I don't know if that is what is going to happen though.

As long as you renewed by the due date you retain your seats

MT is correct; plan for 2022 is for all reserved seat holders to sit in their seats this year. Only thing that will change that is if there ends up being caps on crowds

That's MT and WP.

We renewed as per normal annual arrangement so I assume all is well.

Cheers

Okay, here's the latest info on seating for members this year that I have been told by the membership dept.

* Firstly, yes any member with a reserve seat will be able to seat in their same seat each week. The caveat is of course covid. This is based on the maximum allowed crowd capacity being 75% or higher. If the capacity were to drop below 75% then it becomes too difficult to move people around. Currently though they've been told max. crowd capacity is 100% so all good.

* Secondly, for GA members there's two possibilities:

1) Same as last year: the Club emails a members barcode to you and you buy a ticket online via Ticketek.

2) The Club is working with the AFL and the ticketing agencies trying to create a digital membership card so all you would need to do is scan in on match day at the ground and be able sit anywhere within the GA bays.
