Really really concerned with Trent.

Struggling to impact games, his leadership is being stretched. I love him but I worry the captaincy burden is destroying him. He was 2nd in the brownlow don't forget.

Needs to be reviewed next year. Maybe a dribblers (like Maxwell) can take charge and let Cotchin concentrate on playing

I think so too. We need a decoy captain. He isn't close to his best and at this rate I don't think he'll reclaim the 2012 form

Captaining Richmond is different to most clubs, maybe all but Collingwood or an Adelaide or West Coast. Doesn't get any bigger. Don't give me Joel Selwood who carries 15k supporters each year on his shoulders with a brilliant list, football department and structures in place - and compare that with what Cotchin has to burden himself with. Its not the same.

He wants out! The Hawks are all over him, he is very soft mentally and doesn't work hard enough and sooked up over the open criticism from the group the other week.  Jogs along side contests instead of hunting the ball carrier, only interested if he can get the ball himself. Move him on and get something for him

It would be better if he had one clubman with some balls to go in and show everyone that's its UNACCEPTABLE TO MESS WITH OUR CAPTAIN!!!!
Instead he has to play with a bunch of softies

Problem is the coach has allowed this sissy type of footy to develop into what we continue to see today.
Well done  :clapping

That's a cop out, that doesn't stop him from actually trying to defend and hunt the ball carrier. Just as soft as the rest of them, harden up princess Trent

Are you serious Sugark? Zooks would not be happy with that comments. Been a great player for us. Don't like these theories. He's playing injured FFS. At any other club they'd have him on ice to get him ready for finals. But we need him out there & he is working his arse off !

Gee I would give you one to remember if you ever said that at the footy to me pal! You wouldn't wanna ever come round me mate!

It would be a beauty don't worry about. Quick left followed with an uppercut the rib cage. Best light heavyweight of my generation

Bloke was being held all night. No frees, nobody to protect or help him, and not enough mongrel to smack his opponent in the throat the way Sam Mitchell does.

Best option for captain atm you have to admit. Just not enough compatriots. Needed Jackson tonight to get under the packs with Cotch.
