Much Better this game.  :clapping
Need more of this output and four quarter effort in all finals we play. He's that talented he can even give us more if he wants it enough.
Let's hope he keeps up the intensity and doesn't get distracted by close checking taggers and he's able to work a way through it.

His pep talk to Rance from the tag he got vs port for me shows he is the right man to lead this club in finals. He might not ignite the field like Martin but to me he the captain our players will go in hard for a premiership tilt

Thought he was brilliant yesterday; except for that shocking miss In the 1st

Seems like Cotch is judged positively only when the team is winning

Not by me. Didn't like his games against Freo or Hawks.
But his output in losses has been even more telling.

Great game. Set the standard with 5 tackles in the first quarter and shut up his knockers all night.

That goal in the last was just brilliant and all class. One of those goals that will be replayed for years to come.

I'm going to say that this is what I've been waiting for.

He stood up tonight and set the tone for the whole team in the first quarter. You could actually see it in his attitude and endeavour there was no way he was going to have another finals stinker.  :clapping

He actually proved me right in a way and I'm glad. He is too good a player to have sub-standard games and it was really career defining to be honest. I think now that the monkeys off the back he can just show us how good he really is by setting the standards and leading by example this finals series.
I never ever said Cotchin wasn't talented and I'm glad he's proven it in such an important final.

Now I know that he can be a champion leader and hopefully win us that premiership   :clapping

As good as that was I think that was just the cream on top of a really great performance tonight from our captain. In the first quarter when he tackled Tuohy on the outer wing and then he tackled Selwood on the members wing and slammed him over the boundary we're defining moments.
A fine leadership performance from our captain tonight particularly his first which set the tone and standard the rest of the team followed.  :clapping
