"There's no doubt the addition of Troy Chaplin down there makes (Rance) a better player, and that's the reason we brought 'Chappy' in." ~ Dimma after we beat Freo last year

Except this year from what I've seen his form has severely dropped with the absence of Rance. Is he not confident playing in the back without Rance? I'm in agreeance his leadership 'skills' are virtually non-existent. But you would think having Chris Newman in the side would help with the backline leadership (in a way Maxwell does) so I'm perplexed as to why Chaplin has been severely average this year. Is there a stalker we don't know about?

Did you see his 'leadership' when he absolutely baked the crap out of I forget who when Poupolo was left 100 meters to himself and ran into an open goal? The goal looked ordinary, the bake looked worse.

How much time has this guy got left on his contract?

Does not man up, does not go when its his turn, can not take an overhead mark, (contested or uncontested), has poor disposal by foot and hand, puts Benny Gales number to shame.

I haven't seen any leadership from him whatsoever on the football ground.  How does that qualify him as a leader of the club?

Jack tackled and ran all day trying to lift the club against Hawthorn.  Chaplin did nothing.

He does not defend!

He doesn't spoil the football!

He doesn't take marks!

He is horrible now!

Those are definitely some of the prime symptoms of Tigeritis.
T. M said Port has a cure for it though.

....Maybe he can go back.

Shame for Grimes he is no longer in the leadership group..

Easily winning the most disappointing player poll is Troy.

In a canter, which is very apt for ol' Troy
