A disgrace, leadership has no idea what the word means

It certainly looks that way when I watch on the idiot box, WP.  Doesn't have an on-field leadership bone in his body.
I doubt he has any bones.  At the very least he has no spine!
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

our tall defender stocks.

astbury -  195/95 kpd. is the only one of the tall defenders who has shown a real ability to play consistently well 1v1 on the oppositions big forwards.
rance - 194/96 tall defender can play kpd if needed. his strength is most certainly not 1v1.  he plays his best footy as a rebounding third tall type who is third man up and cuts the ball of in flight.he played loose man in defense against geelong and we could all see how well he can play if hes not having to account for a direct opponent.
grimes - 193/89 tall defender. another 3rd tall whos best work is as a third man up. we just dont get enough of anything else out of him. at 89kg it is folly to play him on the bigger kpfs.
darrou - 190/97 tall defender. despite his size he plays more like a flanker. lack of height at afl level would be telling against the bigger kpfs.
mcintosh - 192/89 tall defender. can play 3rd tall very well but hes a running player and should be played as such.

chaplin - 195/98 kpd. of all tall defenders he is the one who shold be most capable of going 1v1. if he cant do this role we need to desperately go out and draft/trade for someone who can.
he just doesnt have the awareness or skills to be a third tall.

chaplin was heavily criticised for his skills and constant turnovers at p/a nothing has ever changed in that regard it continues to be an issue with us.
what annoys me is ive seen chappy perform well as a stopper at times and thought this was what we were going to do with him. seems not. how often have we actually given him a big power fwd to play on and stop.
looking at all options as far as playing on the bigger fwds chaplin imo has the best chance of succeeding.
the list is scraming out for 2 big power defenders imo one mature one junior. one to replace chaplin and the other to develop for the future.

You can forgive the miss kick early in the game

But the first Melbourne goal

Why wasn't he stationed between the ball and the goals

More so if he's playing loose

His opponent was deliberately targeted because of his poor one-on-one defensive work. Is usually good as the loose man but lost all confidence when he knew his weaknesses were being exploited. Worst game I have seen him play

Without a doubt the most over paid player we have. Without question.

Bundle him, Hampson, Knights, A.Edwards, O.Stephensen, S.Grigg and B.Houli you'd equal nearly 2 million in TPP. Would any other club take these blokes? Maybe Houli but that's it.

6 spots on the list, over 150 RFC games of experience and 2 million in TPP that we've thrown away here.

Why are we paying 400k for a loose man in defence?

Tom Langdon is going OK. What is he earning? Where was he in the Draft?

Give Jason Cloke a rung, couldn't do much worse..

As painful as an early morning visit to the toilet after a long night drinking and a kebab on the way home at 3 am.
