It's going to be a very very long year for a lot of you that don't rate or like Chaplin, because old mate Hardwick loves him and he aint going anywhere.. :thumbsup

This thread should hit 400+ pages by seasons end :lol :snidegrin

Yeah but Bents declares his love for Chaplin on the Shaun Grigg  thread too.

Did you see how long he stared at the freo player before he handballed to him? It was like he just couldn't process that Fremantle jumper = opposition.

Then eventually, you could see his brain click 'yep, I'm gonna handball to the guy in purple".

I swear, the guy is mentally fooled

Chaplin kicking hasn't changed
nor has his marking....had the sit and ballsed it up

Floss, vision, hands to Lambert who hits up Vickery. Goes long to Chappy who can't mark and Freo clear. Connolly saying Chaplin is too slow to play forward.

Freo run it up the other end for another goal.

1 - 18

And yet not too slow for the backline...

Then he grabbed two chopsticks and stuck them in his mouth , pretending to be a walrus

I am no huge fan of Chaplin these days but he is not list blocking the afore mentioned, Stalin. Griff is injured all the time ditto Astbury. McBean is still too raw, Elton is not up to it and the others have played one game out of a possible one game in the Nab challenge.
Mention, say, Matt Dea from last season perhaps.

McBean is ready and should be given a decent run of matches to prove himself, not just the odd one here & there....
