"I still have confidence in Jay for the future." - Plough in EOTT

Going by Plough in his latest EOTT match report today, Sarge isn't going anywhere at the end of the year. Terry basically said our forwards are being starved due our lack of inside 50s which points the finger at our midfielders.

Good news.
The reality is Richo won't be there much longer. Schulz may not be the next Richo but he's still handy.
We need several avenues to goal and along with Hughes and Riewoldt
there's a few options. Hopefully the one dimensional of the RFC will soon be a thing of the past.

I thought Sarge was quite good on the weekend.
That snap goal he kicked was a beauty which we've rarely seen from him and he  worked harder than many of his team mates despite the usual crap disposal from the mids.
Worth persevering with for next year at least.

Exactly Mr Magic. Some promising signs, but needs to sustain this.

Worth another year if he can show what he did last week

4 our fwd line to function, richo must be shown the door.

keeping richo is destroying the development for our future, not aiding it.

richo has been a champ , but he is still in my opinion, very selfish and its all about richo.

he may wear his heart on his sleeve, but he may as well learn to where it inside his chest where it belongs!

West Coast game this year with Hughes at CHF and Schulz at FF. :thumbsup

The forward setup looked the best it had in some time and we really matched it with the premiers despite the largely inexperienced forward setup (shame Sarge fluffed his kicking that day).

Wallace was on the right track though with Hughes at CHF and Schulz at FF with Richo playing up the ground.

Unfortunately Terry got scared when the following week we got pumped by Geelong by 157pts due to an unexplained inept performance. However he should have had the gonads to persevere with that structure instead of resorting back to Richo as the sole target which is what he always becomes no matter what othe KPF plays along him up front.

I hope he goes back to the youngsters again and utilises Riewoldt of the bench to relieve Richardson, Hughes and Schulz when necessary.
We need several avenues to goal. The post Richardson era has to begin sometime, when there's little riding on it now is the time to try it.

Hughes has kicked 2 'bags' of 3 goals including 1 time v the Eagles. The boy can play he should be playing seniors and developing his game. I believe that this has been 1 major mistake of the rfc coaching panel, amongst others.

If Schultz was serious about being a forward he would take the bull by the horns now, not wait for Richo to retire.  It's not a case of Richo being selfish but rather a case of certain footballers being so lazy that they leave all the work for Richo to do.  IMO Schultz just won't make the grade.
