Richmond midfielder Kamdyn McIntosh has been placed on the Club’s long-term injury list.

McIntosh suffered a syndesmosis sprain of his right ankle during a training session at the Club on Thursday morning.

The 22-year-old will wear a moon boot for the next three weeks and is expected to miss 8-to-10 rounds of the AFL season.

McIntosh’s move to the long-term injury list will allow elevated rookie, Jayden Short to remain on the Club’s senior list.

On the bright side, should open up a spot for another kid...oh wait.....forgot Half-Step's still in charge.....so another chance for Taylor Hunt and another excuse to keep Vlastuin down back......

Didn't Dan Richardson come out a couple of weeks ago and state that some of our recycled players were drafted for need at the time but we needed to replace them if we were to get to the next level?
So why are we still playing pretty much all of them?
Chaplin
Grigg
Houli
Morris

If Hunt comes in or none of these others are dropped soon, than we are a complete joke.
We as supporters can live through a bit of "heartburn" but not if we are still watching the same crap.

The club admits these types have taken us as far as they can, it's time to stop playing them.

Ins- Rance, Grimes, Astbury, Lennon, Butler, Townsend, Broad

Outs- Houli, Chaplin, Grigg, BEllis, McIntosh which is a big loss, Griffiths, Batchelor

Astbury to play on Tippit
Lennon to play forward the entire night
Butler to play alongside Rioli as our pressure small forwards
Townsend to play on Parker
Short, Morris and Castagna to be our small defenders on Mills, Heeney ans Papley.

We need to get quicker by hand and foot and those "outs" are all slow. The game has changed since last year but we are still playing the same slow moving, slow minded players.

Because he's the kind of player that won't help take us any further and we should be looking to be upgrading on sooner rather than later....

Come on Jackstar!
He is as slow as poo and just runs around getting useless possessions like BEllis.
He is so "one paced" it's killing us especially with the new rules this year.
It time to replace him with someone that can offer "today's AFL footy" speed and pressure.
We need guys that can hurt opposition teams and unfortunately Grigg doesn't.

Do you also feel the same about Houli?

I think Houli , Grigg and Ellis are extremely important B
I also think the game plan is terrible at the moment and all 3 suffer from this
We didn't have gripes 2-3 years ago when these 3 were playing good footy
Tell you something , if Grigg gets over 20 possessions in a game , we are very competive
Would play him and Ellis on wings and leave them there
Not tagging , not playing behind the ball
But use both of them as the release player on the overlap

The thing is Jackstar its not 2-3 years ago and the game has gone past Grigg and Houli and BEllis was never any good. Even Dan Richarson said it without naming names and he is an idiot.
If you think those 3 are important than there isn't much point.

If only we had Yarran for depth...but as i told you all it was a 12 week injury not a 6 week injury.
