Back on topic, I heard a strong rumour that this thread has more crap on it than werribee farm and all will be revealed in the last stuffing hour of trade week  ::)

 >:(

RubberAndFist, back off topic please.

Now, to delete my sig or not delete, that is the question....any final thoughts, churros or otherwise?

Listen Dookshooter, stay on topic or there will be consequences.
This rubber fist may have a day job shaking furiously at umpires but it also has a night job turning backside cables into octopus straps - Capiche?

If Jude Bolton retires I'm sure they can fit him in. ;)

Be interesting to see how the deal will go and how many clubs are involved.  I cant see Sydney giving up premiership players and they have no draft picks to give?? They made trade out a couple of younger players for picks..

That's what I was thinking. Damn he'll improve that Sydney team considerably.

Trade winds - Saturday/ State of Play
afl.com.au

Brisbane will turn their attention to signing free agent Demon Brent Moloney or Hawthorn winger Clinton Young if they are unsuccessful in luring Tippett (who as reported has chosen Sydney).

Gold Coast football manager Marcus Ashcroft is confident of striking a deal once Josh Caddy settled on a destination. "Josh and his management are talking to several Melbourne-based clubs," Ashcroft said.

Port Adelaide has tabled an offer to Sharrod Wellingham although he wants to go to West Coast. Collingwood want healthy compensation in return.

Geelong is reported to be no closer to dealing for North Melbourne ruckman Hamish McIntosh, who has requested a move to the Cats.

Jordan Russell will get to Port Adelaide some time in the next few days. Bomber Henry Slattery is also reportedly heading to Port.

Gold Coast Ruckman Tom Hickey is eyeing a trade to a Victorian club. He's been linked to St Kilda.

Sun Maverick Weller is reportedly the subject of attention from five Victorian-based clubs.

Speculation persists Hawthorn have another target in their sights but his identity remains a mystery so far.

St Kilda's Farren Ray has also been mentioned in dispatches regarding Melbourne.

Kangaroo Ben Warren has also been linked to Melbourne.

They already have a wonderfully strong and disciplined defense throw in Tippett with Reid, Jetta and their midfielders and Gary Rowan coming back from injury and they will be hard to beat next year too. Back to back is not out of the question. They could and should improve.
