Dimma post-game talking about Bolts:

"He can make some mercurial things happen. That left foot goal - we actually said just before it that he should centre this but it went through. It's what the special ones can do. What I have been really been pleased with is Shai's defensive intent. It's taken some time but he's now understanding how that leads and helps his offence. His ability out of clearance is also quite remarkable. So I was pleased with his game again. He's had a fantastic season to date."

Tigers' human highlight Shai Bolton could be on the way to joining one of the AFL's most exclusive clubs

FOLLOWING his miracle goal against the Western Bulldogs on Saturday night, could Shai Bolton be set to join one of the League's most exclusive clubs?

Only seven players in VFL/AFL history have won both Mark of the Year and Goal of the Year during their careers. Bolton could be the eighth.

North Melbourne's Phil Baker (1978), Carlton's Peter Bosustow (1981) and Richmond flyer Michael Mitchell (1990) have the honour of winning both awards in the one year. Who will ever forget Mitchell's seven-bounce run-and-carry from half-back to 20m from goal against Sydney at the SCG in 1990 to complete his double?

Gary Ablett Snr, Tony Modra, Matthew Lloyd and Winston Abraham have all won both in different seasons.

I know it's a stereotype to call indigenous blokes 'excitement machines' but gee whizz I love watching this fella get near the ball

The political stuff that had nothing to do with Bolton or footy has been moved to the General Discussion Board.

BOLTON BOLTS

Shai Bolton, surprisingly but unarguably, had his colours lowered by Chayce Jones in the first half but his third-quarter cameo turned the tide the Tigers’ way.

Bolton moved into the centre-square after half-time and his clearance work spared Richmond’s revival.

Our most important player in my honest opinion.

More X factor/match winning ability than Dusty these days.
