Ideally the vlastuin spot is where you introduce kids into the team

C ellis, lennon, menadue are getting shafted somewhat

Corey Ellis is injured

It is the only reason he isn't in the side now.

He has never been dropped for any other reason than from being injured but don't let that get in the way of whatever your point is supposed to be

No doubt Newman will slide straight back into the twos  :snidegrin
Then he grabbed two chopsticks and stuck them in his mouth , pretending to be a walrus

Have to say I agree

Natural leader this young man

Pardon my french, but this guy is seriously a stuffing boss....i agree he could be our very own Luke Hodge.

Flossy made Robbo's 'likes' column today ...

7. Nick Vlastuin.
Every week in victory, the focus has been on the leaders: Cotchin, Riewoldt, Rance, Deledio and recently Grigg. Doing his job in the back half has been Vlastuin. Has developed into an attacking defender and has eliminated single-digit disposal numbers from his game. Likes the man-on-man stuff and is now driving through half-back supplying run. Reminds me of young Damien Hardwick minus Hardwick’s dodgy kick.

He's already better than Hardwick ever was....trust Slobbo to compare him to an Essendon player...

yeah, got beaten in some contests early, but lifted as the game went on.

its a good sign when a young player shows that sort of resolve.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."
