LEN Ablett, a foundation stone of the Ablett football dynasty, had died, aged 90.

Ablett played 70 games for Richmond and had been the Tigers' oldest living premiership player, being a member of the victorious 1943 flag winning side.

His cousin is the father of AFL players Gary, Geoff and Kevin Ablett.
