Connors knew his time was up and when he met Hardwick it got so heated they both had to be restrained.

Based on reports from the club, only 5 people could have witnessed that.

Connors, his manager, Hardwick, Gale, Cameron

Who leaked it to the media?

Brownless just put this Nathan Brown on Triple M and he said that when he heard Barrett say it on the Footy Show it was the first he had heard of it. He said he has been speaking to Connors since they're good mates and hasn't been told anything. Maybe somebody from that meeting mentioned in a passing comment to someone else that there was an argument (which wouldn't surprise anyone), which turned into a heated argument when the story was retold, and snowballed from there.

I agree I think that is most likely the case  ;)

Thornbury? What happened to Northcote?
The suburbs are next door to each other so we'll let him off on this one  ;D.

Not sure those in thronbury would like to be confused with Northcote  ;) ;D

Considering the gulf in house prices those in Preston would gladly be confused by either of the preceding suburbs mentioned. :thumbsup

True, true  ;D

Having been involved at Coburg over the course of approx 4 years, the departure of Daniel Conners is the best thing that has happened for a long time.

He has decency at all and never deserved 5 years on an AFL list. Talent is irrelevant, he has never had the desire, work rate or respect required to make it.

I am sure he wil speak out because thats the type of person he is.

The Tigers take on Melbourne this weekend without sacked forward Dan Connors and suspended midfielder Dustin Martin

While coach Damien Hardwick and Connors exchanged strong words this week, the club last night denied they ever came close to blows or were forced to be separated.

Great to see gary, wankshaw and burger brownless lay the boots in completely tonight.
Bet if it was doggies or melbourne they wouldn't say anything.

Amazing ratboy "broke" the story that nought are in the hunt for travis boal, and according to his sources boak is only intrested in two clubs being cats and nort. Maybe he is an hole and wants to fit in

Seems Jack gave away what the players think of playing home games away. When they got to discussing the Melbourne vs Port game in Darwin he thanked Garry for the Dees taking that game off us.

Don't think anyone at the club enjoys that we've been forced to play home games away including Benny himself.

Absolutely poohouse that we'd gotten ourselves into such a dire a financial position to even contemplate it.
Hopefully we never have to again beyond the final game next season.
