My mate was telling me that CC has a very good web of contacts aussie wide, that he reckons will only improve our list management and recruitment, and apparently that CC has always harboured a desire to come over to our football club. :thumbsup

Craig Cameron has been given a 5-year contract as list and strategy manager after being "wooed" for months.

http://www.realfooty.com.au/news/news/richmond-snares-recruiter/2007/12/03/1196530577182.html

Richmond Chief Executive Steven Wright couldn't contain his delight at snaring Cameron from Melbourne who just oversaw the Demons' latest intake of five draftees at last month's draft.

"Craig is held in extremely high regard throughout the football industry and we are delighted that he'll be joining us in the New Year," said Wright.

"His main responsibility will be putting together the best possible playing list for the club moving forward."

Richmond director of football Greg Miller, who has been criticised this year for wearing too many hats in the Tigers' football department, will have his workload eased as a direct result of Cameron's appointment.

Miller will now oversee the football department that now comprises Cameron and recruiting manager Francis Jackson.

Cuddles is Chris Connolly, ex-Freo coach.

Ahhhh. Thanks wayne. Anything to do with Connolly is bound to be a disaster. He and Lyon deserve each other.

Melbourne football manager Craig Cameron said the club was thankful Bruce had enough time to recuperate to be fit for the first round.
