Richo on 3aw
« on: February 06, 2008, 06:16:51 PM »
The big fella is coming up on 3aw.

Mike said Plough is deliberately keeping quiet this year after 3000 comments last year.

Summary

* Dwayne says it was a great effort for Richo to win the B&F.

3aw whispers: (Richo's answer)
Tuck  HB line -  tick
Schulz CHB  - tick  CHF, CHB
Polak FF  - tick  forward line
Foley first signs of OP :(  -  Richo says no.
Richo absolutely flying - tick (laughs)
Cotchin a long way off

* Happy with preseason but that's what 15 other sides says. Don't know until you play other sides.

* Collective decision - coaches, leadership group - to let actions do the talking andwin some games and respect.

* Putt - ruckwork really good. Browny says he can get his hands to it. Just needs to build up obviously.

* 30 years plus is one bad year away from the chop. Motivation to keep working hard.

* McMahon - will improve our ball use and run and receive. Need some more guys on the outside with Foley, Tuck, Cogs on the coalface.

* Reckons Knighter will do well coaching at Essendon.

* Rance - another exciting prospect. Well built for hs age and Richo can see him playing games this year at CHB.

* Whispers has no cred according to Richo lol.

* No Cotchin, Thursty (knee), Graham in NAB Cup.

* Tambo - hurt by the Buddy thing (not his fault) but expect to see the best of Tambo this year. Same with Lids.

Offline I love LIDS

Well sounds as Richo has no plans to retire as yet. 300 games here we come.

I wouldn't have thougth we needed any more outside types  ???. Only Foley was our quality midfielder last year so we don't have as yet an overabundance of ballwinners.

with that i would have thought it was the quality rather than quantity of outside players. We have plenty but how many are genuine AFL quality? Jordy IMHO is a class outside player. A smooth mover with brilliant skills on both sides of his body.
