FWIW, I actually hope the manager's telling the truth...not sold on Schache at all and fear we'll pay massive overs in terms of both money & picks.....

Mason Cox has re-signed with Collingwood for 3 years. So that media rumour that we were one of the clubs interested has been put to bed.

Reckon Josh Schache won't be at Brisbane next year. Tigers poised. Late first round pick might do the deal. Perfect for Richmond.

Jack Niall jusr said on AFL Tonight that Schache's packed up all his belongings and his teammates reckon he's leaving....

Would much prefer Stringer out of those two....I'd say Essendon will probably get him as Geelong have no first round pick to offer...

Brisbane teammates of No. 2 pick Josh Schache believe his future is likely to be elsewhere after packing up belongings.

Teammates of the 20-year-old are not expecting Schache to return to the Lions for the 2018 season, foxfooty.com.au understands.

Schache, who lived with teammates Corey Lyons and Alex Witherden this season, is believed to have packed up most of his belongings, leaving little in Brisbane to return to.

But he didn't pack his bed, TV and dresser....

Hey; if we could get Schache for a third rounder and maybe a Conca or Menadue type Id definitely do it.

I dont think we will and Id rather save the first rounder for the draft or a stronger trade.

Then again, I back our system to turn him around. Could be the perfect player for where we are at. Wouldnt be our #1 key forward for a while yet so that would help development immensely. Im sure he'd jump at us if we seriously expressed interest.

If Lynch leaves the Suns they are finished. The AFL won't let it happen.

I agree. Tom Lynch is going to get paid a lot of money outside of the footy cap in coming seasons.

Ummm it will take at least one first round pick plus extra to satisfy the Lions.

FWIW, I have heard from a pretty reasonable source (person with very good connections to a WA AFL club) that the Tigers are expected to trade for a late 2nd round pick and may have a deal in place already.

No further info, read into what you can/want.

I would have thought but have been hearing a lesser pick would do it.

Mark Stevens on Ch 7 news just said the Tigers have surged to be in the running for Jake Stringer, who is definitely leaving the Bulldogs.

It's now out of three clubs - Richmond, Geelong and Essendon.
