IMO Martin is the kind of guy who will achieve what he sets out to do as an athlete.

“I’m in my fifth year now, so it’s time for me to stand up and become more of a leader, which I’m slowly starting to do,” Martin told Tiger great Matthew Richardson in an exclusive ‘Roar Vision’ interview.

“There’s definitely more responsibility on myself and the other guys that have been here a while now.”

“I think I’m just okay at the moment.  I definitely think I’ve got my best footy to play after the bye, so I’m definitely looking forward to attacking the second half of the season,” he said.

....or are we just unlucky in that we somehow manage to consistently recruit players who lack "personal responsibilty"?
