Hold a minute Matthew Knights was at the RFC during this sustained period of "non-success" ( was going to say failure but I am practicing my spin doctoring ) - so the wasn't he part of this culture that we so desparately want to get rid of?

So he is at Essendon now - does this mean he has now found "success culture" lying around and he can come back to Richmond and sprinkle it around an hey presto everythings gonna be "peachy".

As for getting Sheedy back - NO.

there are many reasons why good people leave our club
if you look at every person who has left the club you will see 95% are genuine reasons & not because of the club itself
Wallace is rebuilding after years of misjudged decisions from previous board & coaches its not fixed in a few years
Wallace may never take us to a premeirship but he may build a strong foundation & if another coach came in & coached a premiership in his 1st year everyone would be kissing his ass and forget all the years of work put in place by the coach & board before him
Dont forget Richmond were broke & down & out nearly a few years back
you want a good coach but only have peanuts to pay him you get someone like Frawley with no game plan because no-one else wanted the gig
you want a premiership them you pay someone who will weed out the weakness and build a team then he will inplace a gameplan to win a premiership but this is still a few years away

Kevin Sheedy.... you have to be joking, Kevin Sheedy doesnt give a stuff about richmond, if he did, he would have come back in the last 25 years, Sheedy cares about Sheedy, and that is it. He only used the tigers as a bargaining tool to strengthen his position against the bombers.

and as for matthew knights, give me a break. Thats all we need ex-underperforming players to help prop up this underperforming team. I loved mattie knights, but for farks sake surely the tigers best interests would be served if he and wayne campbell learnt about coaching outside punt road and then came back to tigerland with something new to offer rather than the same old poo we have had for the last 27 years.
