Football manager Dan Richardson said it was great to see Maric back on the field, but that he would not be rushed back.

“He got through three quarters and pulled up well, so we’ll look to give him more minutes at VFL level this week before we make a decision on his availability for AFL selection,” he said,

“Ivan is obviously an important player for us, but we want to make sure he is ready to perform at AFL level, and not rush him back too early.”

Having missed the first 9 I don't expect much from him until we win our meaningless ones from about round 17-23.
