Was still a baffling selection with Heppell & Prestia still there....and not even in hindsight....nearly everybody was thinking "wtf?" even before the draft, when the word got out that we were going to pick him at 6....

Had a little stroll through this thread nd im laughing my arse of at some posters. They have talked this bloke up  especially his first few years and bagged the crap out of Heppell. I dont need to mention names but they know who they are and they have shown they have nfi.

Ha! Interesting reading when you go back.
Reading the words "skill and poise" to describe Reece is even more interesting.
The summation of draft picks on page 21  wasn't bad either.  :shh

Well i have always backed Reece in but he is no Heppel. If he can remain injury free he is best 18 for sure, my opinion of course.

Reece I don't think has much skill or poise,what he does have is lots of grunt.
Not sure whether grunt can cover the fact that he turns the ball over with abandon ,and makes horrible decisions during the course of a game

I know what its like always looking at a certain players faults, I did it constantly with turn over bad decision maker Newman. Don't under play what he does well as all players turn the ball over in game.

Interesting id say hilarious. Credit to ya on Conca. You could hardly make an earlier call and be right. In fact you were pretty spot on on most players from that period.
