Solid.

Nothing lucky or amazing tonight. Just pure blue collar footy. Some ugly but done nonetheless.

If this is the "Richmond way" I would like to see more of it please.

I will also be lifting my expectations for next week and expect to see the same level of intensity so we can spoil Fletcher's milestone party.

I am not a fan or believer of Hardwick being the man to take us to the next level but credit where credit is due - he coached the pants off Hinkley today.

Solid win for a top 4 team, good win for a top 8 team and a great win for an ordinary team looking to build their season.
Funny how some posters on this thread rate the win like we should be a top 4 side but claim we arent a top 8 threat based on list management, recruiting, coaching or game plan.  :huh

Really good win especially after weathering that all out assault from Port in the third.

Play that style of football and we will win some big games. I loved it. Tackling and pressure some of the best I've seen from a Richmond team.

Next two weeks the big tests now to see if we have really moved forward or not.

Amazing win considering how we've been playing (i.e. poor football for 3 quarters and REALLY poor for the other). We stuck fat and barely lost a quarter against a team that, given the time and space, would still be able to rip you apart :clapping

Our defeat of port. We played well but they seemed down.

Was it a lucky win, a solid win or an amazing win?
We didn't give them an inch , raised a few eyebrows it did , they're still talking about it in footy circles  :shh

Thought it was an excellent win. To beat Port in Adelaide wiith their season slipping away plus Cornes retirement would have seen them up and about. Great stuff by the Tiges.

It's looking more and more like a season defining win (with the magpies one). I'm hoping we aren't having a Norf season (was it last year?) where we win the tough ones in top 8 but struggle to beat the stragglers.
If we're not 10&5 in 3 weeks, we will know more

Well according to Mark Maclure, we only beat the Swans because our shocking first half fooled Sydney into a false confidence and so they took us lightly after half-time  ::)  :wallywink.
