The new Sack Hardwick thread
« on: August 13, 2021, 09:51:04 PM »
Back by popular demand (unfortunately I couldn’t  kick off the old thread again so mods feel free to merge  if you cbf).

What are our options?

Teaguey will be available soon?

Or what about Jono Brown?

Needs to work on a new game plan and adapt to the new version of the game which completely sucks by the way.

Reckon the game plan is just fine, unfortunately the execution of it this year is horrible

Stoppage coach goes for not protecting the defensive side and allowing oppositions to just waltz out the front.

Forwards coach goes for the tripe that is our F50 entries.

Can we get fitness coach Rob Inness back from the Swans? We didn't play a 4 quarter effort all year.

Can we also get a new tackling and goalkicking coach.

I really don’t want to hear any more “we don’t rate centre clearances” chat from Dimma.

It’s clearly a massive weakness that needs addressing.

It's all very well not to "rate" centre clearances but you have to at least be prepared to defend against them.. :shh..

stuff me Damien.

I'm sick of hearing how well opponents looked and played against us. Probably a reflection on us if it's happened every week for the last 10. Maybe we are easy for sides to play well against lol.

Interesting point. One of the main factors IMO along with injuries, and losing the assistants.

Agree re the assistant's

But I do reckon the other cuts in the footy department have impacted too.

There are a lot of good people who lost their jobs. People that although not a a coach or a recruiter (the front line types) that has gone and these were folks who were close to our players. Our footy department are very close knit

I've no doubt that's had an impact too

An easy way for us to circumvent the stand the mark rule is to get 5 meters behind and move laterally to cut off runners or easy meters gained. I can’t believe we didn’t try this as much as possible.
