Can tell you the reason that Richo gets put behind the ball on occassions is to stop the ""bleeding"" before the end of a quarter. can tell you opposition sides know that the Tigers are huge trouble when they see the big man go back behind the ball.

Not having Thursty out there exposes our lack of depth in key defenders. Part of the reason of recruiting Rance and trying to turn Sarge and Gourdis into backmen.

95 we were a preliminary final side and we had lost Tony Free as well. Stephen Jurica filled the breach for half a dozen games and then after that the impact of his loss was beginning to be felt. Hence we our highest score in 3 finals was 86 points.
Yep people forget we only won 5 games after round 12 in '95 including the three finals. In 2000 we still missed the finals thanks to be screwed by injuries but with Richo and everyone back the following year we did. Spud's gameplan revolved around Richo and Otto up forward who were both in top form. As you say HT74 we had a more experienced list back then.

I would love to see Richo at centre half back, or anyware but the forward line. He will miss more goals that he gets. He demands space in there limiting other players ability to find space, then gets the ball and misses goals. What is the point :banghead.
It is time for him to guide and help the new generation around the ground. He will inspire them even more if given the chance to run. :gotigers

From where we were sitting (on the 50 docklands side) I saw a number of "passes" land 5m in front of Lids when he was clear in front of his opponent. Most of these "passes" were from just 25m away. Now you'll know Lids the crap delivery Richo has had to put up with for the past 15 years  :banghead.

thats why guys like lids and morton, whocan deliver the ball should be delivering the ball, not receiving the ball in the fwd 50

terry must be a dumb@RSE If he dosnt work that out come rnd 1

lids and morton will kick and create more goals from the midfeild than playing deep

terry the tosser has lost the plot and is now so desparate to find answers he has no idea what to do

Yep playing Lids permanently as a FF is a waste when the side kicks just 9 goals for the game.
