There's a photo in this mornings Herald Sun of Jack Viney and Brandon Ellis contesting the ball. One has a look of determination, the other a look of fear as he evades contact.
To me, it sums up our core failing as a team.
A lack of intent.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Love him or hate him you can't deny he has definitely changed his style and has tried to be more in and under in the last few weeks winning his own ball and become more fierce in his tackling.

Rnd 1) 8 contested / 12 uncontested 2 tackles.

R2) 6 contested / 23 uncontested. 2 tackles

R3) 6 contested  / 33 uncontested. 1 tackle.

R4) 5 contested / 14 uncontested. 2 tackles.

R5) 3 contested / 15 uncontested. 4 tackles.

R6) 6 contested / 20 uncontested. 5 tackles.

R7) 13 contested / 14 uncontested. 4 tackles.

R8) 11 contested / 16 uncontested. 3 tackles.

His decision making is poor!

He needs to get better with football in hand!

Stop "quick kicking" it!

Has been solid 2 weeks in a row but yeah still craps himself a couple times a game. Almost threw the remote at the TV when kicked it 40m backwards in the 3rd without looking forward or to the middle

Why?

There are 15 defenders on one side

If you move it to the other side there are less

Like hockey soccer basketball

Often the options are a hack Chaplin a dud Hampson or a triple teamed jack to kick forwards too
