It seems a number of parts of the world that were for a long time stable are no longer so at the minute. The latest is Turkey's failed military coup.

seems staged to me. I guess the proof will be in the aftermath and whether erdogan tries to change the constitution to give himself more power. Within 24hours of the "failed coup" hundreds of judges and thousands of soldiers have been arrested, now he is talking about reinstating the death penalty. Convenient to get rid of his opponents once and for all?
