Latest BF rumour ................

Big news coming out next week involving 4 teams Saints, GWS, Blues & Tigers. Goddard & Dal Santo involved in this trade and a young star that quite a few clubs want.

It's going to be massive, this deal between the four clubs has been discussed between them for quite a while now.

Can't really say too much but it involves 3 Blues who havent signed yet and one that has a year left on his contract. The Tigers will be traded two of these players for draft pics which will be passed on to a certain club. Tigers will give up one of its current stars and a fringe player

The thing here is that the Tiger fans are going to be over the moon, even though they are going to give up something this trade will push them into the top 8 next year. Unfortunately for the Blues they have to give up quite a lot and some Carlton fans are going to be upset, but when they look at the gains they will be very happy indeed.

Don't you just love trade rumours lol.

I can't see Richmond trading one of its "stars" out. Neither would Carlton seeing how they are on the verge of top 4 and making it into the 3rd week of the finals.   Plus when someone promises a player will turn any side into a top 8 side it loses any creditability if it ever had any so Im calling BS on it.

It's probably Collingwood and Dayne Beams or Brent McCaffer. They tend to overrate their players just a touch.

Wouldn't call either of them a big name player. Yep hard to trade with clubs like Essendon and Collingwood who overrate their players much to our delight with Bachar Houli. :lol :rollin :lol

Wouldn't mind Dayne Beams for free.  :cheers
why what attributes makes you think hed be a decent player at richmond. wouldnt touch him with a barge pole.

Dream time at the trade table...

Trade Out:
McGuane to GC for Nicholls - Project Ruck
Nason to Adel for Maric - Insurance (ie:Miller)...
Morton, White and Jackson to GWS for top 10 pick - Gun Midfielder
Conors + Compo to Adel for Dangerfield (otherwise send to Carlton for an upgrade and keep compo)

Still have picks to play with...use to get deals done if we have to, must clear out the dead wood while some of these boys still have value to the 2 x new clubs.

Idealy would like a seasoned defender, but will back in Grimes, Rance, Astbury, Post and Batchelor etc...

Must and Will step up...
Conca - midfield
Helbig - clearance, run with roll
Edwards - wing
Post - CHB
Derrix - Ruck
Griffiths - CHF

Delist/drop Graham back to VFL

Yep...that should do for now...

Non-Richmond rumoured trades mentioned in the media today....

GWS gain Collingwood's pick 25
Collingwood gain Marty Clarke (Ireland), Jamie Elliott (Murray Bushrangers) and a late pick in the 60s (presumably GWS' pick 67)

Carlton chasing Marty Clarke as well and they are willing to offer Brock McLean lol to GWS to get a deal done. However it's reported Clarke wants to rejoin Collingwood.

What would we have to give up to get Vinesy?

BF's DeepThroat's latest offering....

"Just letting you all know that im hearing, but i am yet to Confirm, that our 1st pick (which ever number it end up being) and our compo pick will be traded this year and possibly our 2nd rounder as well, making it more than likely that we will not have our own first 2 round picks at all and we will have to trade to get back into the top 40 this year.

I have to make it very clear that im not 100% sure about this but Im going to make some enquiries this afternoon.

Who the players are that will be involved has not been said but we will be involved in a three way deal with some clubs Carlton looking most likely as one of the clubs at this stage. Geelong is keen to clean swap Gillies with D Jackson."
