BF's DeepThroat's latest offering....

"Just letting you all know that im hearing, but i am yet to Confirm, that our 1st pick (which ever number it end up being) and our compo pick will be traded this year and possibly our 2nd rounder as well, making it more than likely that we will not have our own first 2 round picks at all and we will have to trade to get back into the top 40 this year.

I have to make it very clear that im not 100% sure about this but Im going to make some enquiries this afternoon.

Who the players are that will be involved has not been said but we will be involved in a three way deal with some clubs Carlton looking most likely as one of the clubs at this stage. Geelong is keen to clean swap Gillies with D Jackson."

Oh well good to see some people can't seem to give up smoking crack.....what a load of rubbish, hell if that happens I will be buying a Cats membership next year...the Tigers can go to hell...

Won't happen though.

Isn't Gillies ment to be a future replacement for Scarlett?

It seems like Geelong for a long time have been very picky on players that have good foot skills which Dan Jackson doesn't have so why they would want him.

Next episode from DeepThroat on BF:

"Ok Ladies and Gents, as I said b4 it was even reported Maric will come to us in the PSD if our 3 rd was not accepted, crows have relented now and have asked for a 3 rd round pick
that's better than ours or a late 2nd pick from another club, if it cannot be obtain by the
RFC they will accept our 3rd pick as the worst case scenario.
BIG NEWS is we will trade our 1st round pick, what ever number it ends up being, but it
will either be with another listed player to get into the top ten or more importantly for a player from another club, he won't be over 23 and under 20!!
If we can get a mid from with in a Victorian club that we are chasing then our 2nd pick will be gone, Lucas and Bower r both headed for punt road, lucas looking as good done to punt road. Mathew white will be involved with either our 1st round or 2nd round picks or traded to GWS for another pre listed player. "

"Yes correct, though foley won't b traded to get us into the top ten with our 1st pick, if anything Foley and our 1st pick will be to target JOM."

all pretty plausible, i reckon we will be a major player this year, WHY, coz dimma has learnt a heap as to who has what it takes to shoulder what it takes to WIN...Im liking what i hear :shh

I cant see us in a position to snag JOM though, we would have to offer moe than what we can afford at this stage.

To be perfectly honest and with the way people are walking out on clubs these days to get back to home states, given he has stated his pref to stay in WA, I would be wary of taking him to be honest.

In fairness we only ever hear of the ones that leave. How many players stay.

Agree. Its actually not that un-realistic at all. Also, we seem to have a jump on the competition having Blair Hartley. Im of the opinion we will keep winning trades until the rest of the league catch up.

More from BF's DeepThroat"

"The saints are in Big trouble, the jungle drums are banging real loud. Goddard or Dal santo could be gone.

From what I'm hearing, Ross Lyon Was told that he has to rebuild, he has to Lose one or 2 of his guns, they could possibly be over the salary cap and the afl will come down hard on the saints similar to Carlton, so they wants high draft pick now.

Carlton making a huge play for Goddard and yes I know it's been said b4, we could be the winners, Lucas will be a tiger or used by the tigers to extract another player from an interstate club, but is looking likely that he will end up at punt road, but along with Lucas we will get Bower to keep or trade to GWS or to freo/WC, but we could end up with B. MacClean for nothing so long as we take his salary, not sure on this part yet but he would then free the blues right up to get Goddard.

So we could lose pick 14 for Morris Lucas bower and Maclean. Again not completely over all the details on this but it will something similar.

Saints are in huge trouble if the whispers are correct, The real reason Rlyon left will come out after all."

And from Damien Barrett's twitter:
