Owl is that guy in the corner of the pub with a smile on his face that could mean he wants to either smash ya or he just let a beauty rip and is waiting for the aircon to push it your way.
CUB is standing next to Owl at the bar with the same look.
MT has swallowed an encyclopaedia full of footy stats and firing it off one page at a time.
TBR is sitting in a gutter somewhere wondering where it all went wrong

good quest BR, I could go on but as they say in the classics it starts at the top and I dont believe this club has been well lead for quite some time relative to its peers. I have some confidence in the current board and admin and direction we are heading, prior to that the club was beset by poor management and from there we made constantly poor decisions that encumbered the club both on and off the field. Thats it in a nutshell, look at the successful Vic clubs that have enjoyed halcyon eras and its no coincidence that their off field leadership has been notable, read ESS, HAW, GEE and in more recent years COLL. Hopefully we have taken decent stride in the right direction :pray...there are alot of signs (realtive to other Vic clubs) to suggest we are, cheers

Now it seems to be dominated by a few who seem to stick together and post more to each other than the wider OER community. Leave that sort of stuff to stuff. I know i will cop some stuff over this, but i like the good ole days of Daniel, Jack, Brackets, Al, Tigermonk, Ramps/ Flags etc. all disagreeing yet being respectful of eac other.

Now it seems to be dominated by a few who seem to stick together and post more to each other than the wider OER community. Leave that sort of stuff to stuff. I know i will cop some stuff over this, but i like the good ole days of Daniel, Jack, Brackets, Al, Tigermonk, Ramps/ Flags etc. all disagreeing yet being respectful of eac other.

65 what are you suggesting by these comments? WAT is a stand up guy who is fully aware of what gets flung about him. He is passionate about Richmond and he is doing his bit for world poverty in a very tough part of the planet. All good bud, I actually got banned for calling someone a cocksmoker because they insulted me. I couldn't give a flying stuff if anyone disagrees with me mate regarding foot ball, particularly "NO EXCUSES", that's what it's about.
I would say others agree with me regarding "NO EXCUSES" but the players have made mention of that so I won't go on.... :cheers
But when I get insulted and personally attacked or attacked and treated like a martyre for what I do and where I work then I will retaliate. That is why I was banned.
Like I said all good, I would just like to see personal attacks and baiting stopped, I love a bit stirring like the rest and I give as good as I take but some threads on this forum just fill up with complete rubbish! Nothing to do with the initial thread.

All true, what is different ATM is the mob mentality that goes on.
There are three or four posters who gang up on a particular poster, harrass them into silence and then move onto the next one.
And that is not to mention the constant stream of drivel that spews forth from them.
We have lost a lot of long term posters who rarely post anymore.

On March, yeah I do believe he has done ok, why, coz as a leader he is accountable for putting sq pegs in sq holes. He was quick to recognise miller/Wallace duo were closer to the problem than the solution, he appointed Benny Gale, possibly our first CEO for a few decades that dared to have a vision and the horsepower to back it up and there are clear signs under his stewardship that the RFC is closing the gap in terms of our deficiencies off field. Time will tell whether this transcends onto onfield success but once again some glimmering signs are there

On March, yeah I do believe he has done ok, why, coz as a leader he is accountable for putting sq pegs in sq holes. He was quick to recognise miller/Wallace duo were closer to the problem than the solution, he appointed Benny Gale, possibly our first CEO for a few decades that dared to have a vision and the horsepower to back it up and there are clear signs under his stewardship that the RFC is closing the gap in terms of our deficiencies off field. Time will tell whether this transcends onto onfield success but once again some glimmering signs are there

On March, yeah I do believe he has done ok, why, coz as a leader he is accountable for putting sq pegs in sq holes. He was quick to recognise miller/Wallace duo were closer to the problem than the solution, he appointed Benny Gale, possibly our first CEO for a few decades that dared to have a vision and the horsepower to back it up and there are clear signs under his stewardship that the RFC is closing the gap in terms of our deficiencies off field. Time will tell whether this transcends onto onfield success but once again some glimmering signs are there
