Id take him in a 3 way deal.  ;)
Peake to RFC.
Raines to Brisbane.
Dalziell to Freemantle.
Not ideal but a step up from from Raines.
What's the point? One dud for another? Fremantle win out of that trade by miles.
You're not wrong! I really rate Dalziell, he is a ball magnet. I know he says he is homesick but sometimes that's just the easiest way of saying you want out. Would be worth talking to the kid. Straight swap Raines for Dalziell.  :pray

Dalziell is a ball magnet and is still very young so he will fit in to the age group for our rebuild. However if a straight swap or 3 way deal or whatever cannot be reached with raines going to QLD and Dalziell coming to us then lets try and get the Lions 2nd round pick which will be pick 28 and lets punt on the draft.

For me no point wasting a space on a list for a bloke who is 27 and has played 75 games and this time next year we'll be wondering whether he has any trade value and how long he has left on his contract. Steer clear of Peake please RFC. The direction where this club needs to go is in the opposite direction to where Peake is coming from and picking him up would be an indication that the club has not learned from its mistakes and is still looking for the quick fix.

Im no expert on Peake but he did play very well when the Dockers won 9 on the trot back in 06.He had 2 BOGs during that period.

That being said I just had a look at the site Dockerland.com and I quote "if we get anything for him ,we're in front"

After doing that bit of research I now say Pass.

We had some average plodders in 2001 as well in a 3rd place finish that would have been more than tradeable and overpriced too at that stage.  Three years later most if not all those players that could have been tradeable in 2001 were probably not worth more than a bag of mixed lollies. Same analogy for Peake three years after Freo's prelim final. Good luck to Brett but the RFC halfway House for recycled footballers has closed its doors. No more charity.

Leper, dud & turnover merchant - time the Tigers moved on from plebs & list cloggers like this.
