Speculation surrounding Brisbane includes:

Tigers veteran Nathan Brown heading north to again work with former Richmond, now Lions assistants Jade Rawlings and Craig McRae.

Is Raines and Brown a possibility to give us p28 and not 44 alone for Raines.

How about pick 28 and 44. That'll get us a 3rd rounder and a 2nd rounder.
Might be a bit rich but hey if it can get done why not. It's obvious the Lions want to top up so hopefully in this case Brown's reputation preceeds his aging body and football ability. Lets work on that. :thumbsup

Hard for us to get anything for Browny given we've already told him and the world that we are delisting him. The Lions, Saints or whoever may be interested can get him for nothing in the draft or PSD.

r3 selection for raines is a fair return on an original No 76 choice, hardly "giving away" ::)

Only difference is that if he wants to go to a specific club and that club specifically wants him then they need to trade to guarantee that.  If he goes into the draft or PSD then anyone can pick him up and maybe that's not what he would want.

exactly.  if more than 1 team is interested in him then it would increase the chance of a trade with us.

l'm refering more to giving up 2 players & browny at that
Raines is not worth a cracker anyway & l would make him go into the draft for thinking his better than he is

Brown is dusted. Time to give it away Nate.

And now that Amon Buchanan is going to Brisbane you would think it makes it much less likely that Brown will go there.

David King on 3aw reckons there's a couple of clubs interested in Browny and he'll play on as he had a shocking groin injury this year but more likely Browny will be picked up in the PSD.
