Tommy is 78 yet still never misses a day doing the early morning swim and run.

He still believes even for today's footy that going long and direct with the ball delivered quickly to the forwards is the way to go as backmen still dread it the most.

He also reckons Hardwick was a good choice as coach as Dimma has experienced setbacks early on in his career to then rise up to win two flags as a player and then another as an assistant coach. He's experienced success.

The more the game changes, the more it stays the same.  A timely message to the younger ones who think the game and the ability to win was only invented yesterday.
