Looking into our crystal ball who do you folks think will be our main rivals in 3-4 years time when hopefully we are starting to see the fruits of our rebuild?

Probably still ourselves OE.......  :whistle. No, only joking..... I think. Maybe Hawthawn, Essendon and Melbourne.
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

I just want to win a flag and hope that Collingwood or Carlton won't have won one by then.

Carlton because I hate them and because their lack of defensive KPP have exposed them and Judd will be at the end of his five years.

Collingwood because I hate them too and Bucks will be coaching and all they hype and crap that comes from that overrated footy club.

Winning Grand Finals is sweet I am sure as I have only experienced 1.
Despite my lack of premiership success knowing we beat the Skunks as we did in 1980 is alot sweeter and beating the Cheating Filth is tantamount to Good prevailing over Evil Scumminess Putridness well you know the story.....

Personally I think Hawthorn, West Coast, Adelaide and Melbourne will be top 4-6 sides by the time 2012 rolls around.

I would have said Carlton given their embarrassment of riches at the draft table in recent years along with Melbourne, West Coast, Fremantle and Port.

I think teams like Collingwood, Sydney, Doggies, Geelong and the Saints will be all bottom 8 by this stage.

Reckon teams are getting better at managing to stay on top.

Geelong did very well at the trade table this time around IMHO.

Second bottom mate!  Freo will have managed to stuff up their draft picks (again !), changed coaches and had their four best players leave for melbourne teams by then.  And they will be bottom again.

Judging our team as realistically as possible -

I believe, after this draft, our core midfield will be set up for the future and will be the basis of any success we have in the future: Deledio, Cotchin, Foley and Martin. Add Vickery as a 'tall midfielder' and you have a strong center. What we need now is some of our other 'midfielders' including White, Collins, Polo, Tambling, Edwards, Connors, Thomson or Hislop to step up and become quality midfielders to support these 'core four'.

The other teams that I feel will have midfielders that will be developing at the same rate in 3 years time will be Carlton, Melbourne, West Coast and Fremantle. They have the centers that will challenge us in the future.

Carlton midfielders is Gibbs & Murphy are getting far more ball & doing far more damage than all our Mids put together
