Thanks to your wonderful support, Richmond was able to achieve a record membership figure of 36,985 in 2009.
Your continued commitment to the Tigers is vital to our future success and greatly appreciated particularly given our extremely disappointing '09 season onfield.
There has been plenty of change at Punt Road since the end of the season and, with this, comes renewed optimism. I assure you, however, the optimism will be blended with realism.
We will not conceal our current position, or offer false hope.
What we promise you, however, is the following . . .
* The Club is united in our approach to delivering a blueprint for achieving sustained success.
* We are taking a long-term view with regards to developing our playing list.
* We will not be making knee-jerk or short-term decisions.
* Everything we do will be based around team and not individual gain.

In Damien Hardwick, we have a coach with the right qualities and values to successfully tackle what lies ahead.
Damien has a winning playing and assistant coaching background, is strong-minded, astute, and energetic.
Importantly, he is supported by a team - from the board, through to the football department and administration - that is up for the challenge.
By becoming a 2010 member, you will be playing a key role in our quest for sustained success.
