Have heard Ball has been battling OP for quite some time....true?
Ball did have it at one stage. Not sure if he still does. Like Cogs he's slowed down which is why he was dropped by Lyon during the season.

Luke Ball was training today with a personal trainer in the Botantical Gardens and Ch 10 had footage of him shaking hands and chatting with Damien Hardwick. So Ch 10 have Richmond as one of the clubs that may be interested in Ball.

Fox have a news clip on their website that includes this footage. The commentary says that ball wont become a tiger.

Looked like Damien and Brendan were out for a run, good to see them keeping fit.

 :cheers

All the coaches now join in the running with the players at training. Hardwick and co. chugging along 100m or more behind the rest in the heat.

Not at 500k per year for 2-3 years when he has an injury ravaged body and is slowing down :help. We wouldn't get Ball anyway as we would have to use pick 19 and we're surely not doing something as stupid like that again  :nope.

MELBOURNE has declared that it would take former St Kilda midfielder Luke Ball with pick 11 or 18 in Thursday's AFL national draft whether he likes it or not.

Demons football operations manager Chris Connolly spoke candidly yesterday saying Ball was being "strongly considered" for either its third or fourth selections before a decision would be rubber-stamped on Wednesday by coach Dean Bailey and Cameron Schwab, who left on a 10-day tour of soccer clubs in the UK and Spain last week.
