I agree with this possibility with the non existance of development under the Wallace era. So many hopefuls turned out to be duds.
At another club such as Collingwood or hawthorn or Geelong they may have made a great player.

Look at the development of Travis Varcoe at Geelong. The cats were tossing up whether or not to pick him or JON.

I think most of us including yourself hate mediocrity at punt road.
The angst against Tambling is evidence of how much people are fed-up with mediocrity over the last 28 years.
Everyone would be wrapped to see him succeed at Richmond and help propel us into a grand final but sadly I don't think he is mentally strong enough to do it.
It would be great if he did though.
