Summary

* Yep Big day. Probably the biggest press conference you'll see. Emotional day especially when Cuz spoke to the players.

* Dimma and Craig Cameron met with Cuz yesterday ready to offer him the chance to play on. Before they spoke Cuz told them he wanted to retire. Dimma wanted Ben to go on but can understand why Ben wanted to go out. Ben didn't want to go through next year with the possibility of getting injured, drop off in form and end up spending most of the next year at Coburg. Ben wanted to go out on top.

* He's Benjamin Button at the moment. He was getting better with every game.

* What did Ben teach you? .... His game preparation was amazing. Normally you would get tired with such a thing after a while but Ben thrived on it. He was fantastic on gameday. It was theatre. His one day in the sun. Really impressed.

* Ben was infectious in this area - the importance of club culture. When Cuz would ring Dimma he would ask how did we go today not how did he go. That will be something Dimma will miss.

* Coaching not Ben's immediate future. Not sure if coaching is Ben's thing. When he goes away into his business interests he may look back and want to get into that side of things. Dimma said not for him to say.

* Glad the club helped Ben but Ben also helped Richmond and brought something we needed. A sad day for footy.
