Alarm bells ring at Tigerland

Tue 04 Jan, 2011

The first day back at Tigerland for 2011 got off to an alarming start for Richmond coach Damien Hardwick.

Returning from the Christmas break this morning, Hardwick reported for duty in his old office underneath the Jack Dyer Stand, but instantly, his eager mind began to wander.

With the finishing touches being put on the ME Bank Centre, the new home for the coaches and players, Hardwick decided to poke his head in to check on the progress of the new facility.

He lasted only a few seconds in his new surroundings before the alarm was tripped, and he was forced to evacuate.

The police arrived swiftly on the scene to investigate, but were pleased to find a red-faced Hardwick fess up to his misdemeanour.

Bells toll for Damien
By Craig Hutchison
Sunday Herald-Sun

IT has been an alarming start to the New Year for Richmond coach Damien Hardwick.

Hardwick returned to Punt Rd after the holidays and was keen to have a peek at the club's new building developments.

Finishing touches are being put on the new home for players and staff, the ME Bank Centre, next to the Jack Dyer Stand.

Hardwick decided he would take a look around, only to set off the alarms twice and be forced to evacuate. Six police officers arrived to find an apologetic Tigers coach.

What a pathetic excuse for a journalist hutchy is.

He has done just enough to avoid blatant plagiarism. You'd think now that he is not hiding in Ben's rubbish bins he would have time to participate in some real journalism, but obviously not  :wallywink

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Funny thing is Hutchy is currnetly in NYC so he must trawling through all the web-sites to get his news
"Oh yes I am a dreamer, I still see us flying high!"

from the song "Don't Walk Away" by Pat Benatar 1988 (Wide Awake In Dreamland)
