Griffs was just on ....

* He's put on 3-4kg over the summer. They asked him where about on his body (all over?) and Griffs said he'd like to say all in upper body (laughs)

* How did you find your first year?
Great to get a chance to play AFL. Awesome to win every game. Gag around the club he was the club's lucky charm. Just great to get a chance to play AFL and get to do what you dreamed of as a kid.

* Operation 3 days after Freo game. Recovery took 8 weeks and getting full movement back in the shoulder took longer. He's started to crank up training of late.

* He'll just miss out on Allstars game. NAB Cup not looking great either (I think he meant the first round) but still shooting for round 1. Need to discuss it with the fitness staff.

* Feeling around the club is excellent. Everyone excited. Everyone have shown improvement over the summer.

* We've had a few match-play games amongst ourselves. That'll continue up until our first game.

* Who should we look out for from the Tigers this year?
Contin - changed his body shape immensely.
Foley - awesome out there. Leadership is great. It'll be great having them out there.
Houli and Grigg both will be assets to the club. Houli brings leadership.

* Dimma is quite calm but he does get white line fever. Griffs definitely believes he is the right man to take us into the future.

* Kouta coached him as a junior and said Griffs' marking strength was his greatest asset.

Kouta also mentioned that what he saw of him as a junior was great but he didn't see much because he was INJURED.
I hope that he's not one of those unfulfilled stars that always stay injured. What was that Collingwood player? Walker?
The club that keeps giving.
