Pleased with our physicality and crashing our bodies in (helped by it being a tight close game which you don't always get in preseason games) and our defensive pressure (if we made a mistake we were willing to back up each other which is something we've worked on over preseason).
* Great to have support from the NT crowd. A bit of a cheer squad in one pocket. Boys got a lot out of it and it's a way of giving back to those who don't get to see much footy.
* Best for us was obviously Vickery will 5 goals; Nahas' defensive pressure was good; Conca and Helbig look like they will turn out to be good players for us; our new recruits Grigg, Houli and Miller really impressed with their workrate. Without sounding cliched thought across the ground was a real positive.
* Newy missed last night with a tight hammy. It was fine all week and travelling over but it just tightened up during training the day before. Will definitely be out there next week.
* Two more preseason games, then a week off and then into round 1 so the first game is coming around quickly. We're putting things together on the track and putting in another 4 quarters next week will do us good.
