Melb Holiday
« on: March 21, 2011, 01:06:49 PM »
woohooo only 17 sleeps till Janine , baby Asha & I start our 6 week holiday in Melbourne, we bought a house in Buckingham St Richmond 3 years ago & this is Step 1 to see if we want to live in Melbourne, next year is Step 2 & we plan to kick our tenant out , Im taking long service & stay in house for 3 months, Step 3 is taking the plunge ,seelling down my share of the business , retire (semi) & move so Asha can start school @ Yarra Primary ,just across the road from our house

This time we are staying in holiday house in Wellington St Richmond  so pretty close to MCG

Going to footy Rds 3 thru to 8 & we joined as 3121 Members to enhance the footy experience.

Can anyone suggest some day trips we can do, done all the obvious ones so looking for something that will appeal to 20 month old as well as us.

cheers & Go Tigers

Phillip Island to see the penguins.
Healesville to see the sanctuary.
and Princess Park so the kid can learn what Scum look like.

Highly educational experience the three of those things.

Adding to 10Flags suggestions...

At Ainslie (turn off at Werribee and head west) there's the Fairy Park where they have little grottos around the place with all the different fairytales.

Casino.
To fit in you'll need to leave Asha in the car.
