what I can gather is this.
Nathan Buckley has informed the powers of Collingwood that he will bring in his own team in 2012, to include all footy day personnel , so therefore you can conclude the all assistants will not have contracts renewed.
even personnel on the bench have been informed that they mighten have a role in 2012.
interesting times ahead at the westpac centre.

Gotta hope Collingwood win the flag  :gobdrop just to see the mess they will be in after sacking Malthouse.

I hope it is Tony Shaw all over again.
And you may not think I care for you
When you know down inside that I really do

Like all good vultures we must do our utmost to feast on the carcass - would be remiss of our club not to.

Most predators will eat carrion when the need arises, tigers included.

no need to relate us to vultures.  :)

I can see the headline after round 4 when the magpies lose their first 4 games - "bucks fizz"
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

"After sacking Malthouse"  ::) they haven't sacked him, they contracted him to do another job within the club - there is massive difference. Granted it's a stupid decision on Eddie's part but he certainly hasn't been sacked
