Im thinking about getting one. Is there are a main difference to a laptop other than size.

Yep version 3 will apparently finally have usb ports and it'll target the laptop market.

Just got my IPad 2.........brilliant!!! Wow what a great device!

We ordered it from Apple, arrived about 2 weeks after we put the order in.

I agree with DD. Wait for iPad 3. I was forced to purchase some iPad 2's for work recently and the camera in them is dreadful. My iPhone takes a much better picture. It is definitely suffering from middle child syndrome.
