Not that I rate Jacko as a certainty but I'd have him surviving next year ahead of Kingy.

If most of those in red do struggle next year then we'll be drawing the starting in our rebuild at the 2006 draft. At least half of the 22 y.olds are still unknowns at best. If 2009-10 is our second wave then we'll need another wave after that to get our list structure right..

We now have 28 players 22 years old and under. We'll probably get to 30 when a couple more young rookies are added.

With the Gold Coast taking a fair few older, experienced players - the age discrepency with our list will not be as big as many may believe. The only real difference is the huge weighting of 18/19 they will have compared to our 18 - 23 range. Wonder when all of their out of contract players will be coming to join us at Punt Rd?!  :whistle

Hello Free Agency eh Stripes  ;).

That Age list shows we are still at least 2-3 years away given a few in the 23-24 bracket are no certainties to still be around then. The list won't mature until the Cotch/Martin group are 22-23 and form a experienced core group with a few older player above them and the next wave of youth undernearth. The list's structure is looking more balanced now. Still could do with more class in the 192-193cm 'talls' group which will underpin our backline for the next decade.

Tuck - might still be on the richmond list 2012. God knows
coburg need him in a team getting flogged every week.
Browne. Keep. Playing well at vfl level. Doing what expected for a young ruck.
Rance. Keep. Our best big back. More mature than grimes. More skilled than mcgaune. In the team ahead of Moore. Astbury. Gourdis. Thursty. At this stage. Body of a Greek god. Football seems to be getting better and comes from good stock. highly rated Junior.
Post. Keep. One of coburg better players. Would like to see him given a shot somewhere. Ruck (graham). Back. (mcgaune). Forward. (miller).
Nahas. Keep. Handy.
White. Keep. Pride the the jumper
Graham. Keep. Weak ruck department. Derickx yet to debut. Browne & vickery kids. Decent hit out stats. Still Lacks agilty and too dopey.
Jackson. Keep. Big body. Tagger.

Miller. Mcgaune. Thursfield. Hislop.  Miller looks safe.

Someone like. Gourdis. Morton. Connors might have trade vaule.
