For some reason when I first saw the thread title I thought the Pies were trading their McCartney to the Dogs  :wallywink

Two ex-Ocean Groves coaches get gigs within 3 days. The current Ocean Grove coach will think he's now a chance lol. Not to mention Geisch's time at Richmond has produced to AFL coaches from his assistants -  Lyon and McCartney. Who would've thought that would happen  :o.

In any case an unexpected appointment given it's unusual for AFL clubs to go with a senior coach who never played footy at the highest level.
